Absolutely Incredible Subway Southeasters

Story

Hi!

Our team of Incredible OTR Subway team members hail from the Southeast - we intend to show those metro folk how fundraising is done smiley 

We are supporting OzHarvest by participating in the Great Food Rescue Race! This is a food-focused-foot-race across the Adelaide CBD, aimed at raising the capacity of OzHarvest in South Australia to rescue and deliver surplus food, whilst raising awareness of food waste and security.

Our team is Jane Atkinson (Subway Area Manager), Brittany Smith, Andrea Rehn, Jasmin Melis and Kirsty Hamilton - our goal is to raise over $2,500 for this awesome cause!

    OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. OzHarvest’s yellow vans are out and about in communities every day, collecting quality surplus food from a network of donors, including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, corporate kitchens, airlines, hotels, and other food businesses.

    Through our education programs and advocacy work, OzHarvest hopes to create positive change and inspire others to help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030
