Awesome Golden Whoppers
Story
Hi!
The Awesome Golden Whoppers are a team of dedicated OTR Hungry Jack's superstars. We will work with OzHarvest to raise $2,500 before the Great Food Rescue Race!
The Great Food Rescue Race! is a food-focussed-foot-race across Adelaide CBD, aimed at raising the capacity of OzHarvest in South Australia to rescue and deliver surplus food.
Our team is made up of: Natalie Henderson (Me!), Peter Quin, Shannon Williams, Danielle Clavell and a mystery entrant!
We want to raise more money than any other OTR team, help us by:
· Spreading the word – through social media, email, word of mouth
· Support one of our fundraising activities
· Donate Now – click to make a secure donation (all donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email from GoFundraise as soon as you make a donation).
Thanks so much for your support!
Activity
OzHarvest
OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. OzHarvest’s yellow vans are out and about in communities every day, collecting quality surplus food from a network of donors, including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, corporate kitchens, airlines, hotels, and other food businesses.
Through our education programs and advocacy work, OzHarvest hopes to create positive change and inspire others to help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030
