Hi!
I have decided to support OzHarvest by participating in the Great Food Rescue Race! This is a food-focused-foot-race across the Adelaide CBD, aimed at raising the capacity of OzHarvest in South Australia to rescue and deliver surplus food, whilst raising awareness of food waste and security.
Through this team page we will be helping to raise much needed dollars that will help feed vulnerable South Australians. With 8-10 billion dollars of food wasted each year in Australia, and 90% of food relief agencies reporting that they’re not able to meet community demand, OzHarvest is passionate about reducing food waste and ensuring this abundance is shared with those that need it most.
